NEWS - MEDTEC Ambulance Corporation has announced that it is closing operations in its Goshen, Indiana plant and relocating all manufacturing operations to the Bradenton, Florida facility. We anticipate the first Bradenton units to come off the line by the end of March.
For Lone Star Emergency Vehicles and their customer base… this is GREAT news! The Pierce Plant in Bradenton was home to a portion of the MEDTEC operation for a short period several years ago and our customers profited from it. The Bradenton Plant is an ISO 9001, State-of-the-art facility. Delivery and transportation costs will be positively affected and travel to Bradenton from OUR area of responsibility is not only more enjoyable, but direct-flights are available as well. Overall quality and efficiencies will improve substantially.
