Post-Katrina, the City of New Orleans faces many challenges… poor road and street conditions are prevalent. Working with large crowds from the Super Bowl Parade to Mardi Gras to oil spill clean-up initiatives produces unique EMS situations. Then mix in the hot, humid climate… not just any ambulance will do and design-rookies are quickly eliminated. LSEV and New Orleans EMS invested sixteen (16) months of planning and development to design the perfect-fit for the City.
